Lobuche lies close to the Khumbu Glacier and has two main peaks, Lobuche Far East and Lobuche East. At 6,145 meters, Lobuche East is 26 meters higher. Although the Lobuche East climb is a bit more challenging than Island Peak climb, it is equally rewarding. From the peak you get amazing views of Everest alongside Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam and Pumori. The 19-day Lobuche East Peak Climbing with Everest Base Camp Trek combines Lobuche East Peak climbing with the classic Everest Trek. The trip will also take you to some of the most popular places in the Everest region like Kala Pathar, which provides an excellent view of Everest along with other high mountains.
A representative form Absolute H.J Sherpa Trekking will be waiting for you at airport holding your and the company's name. You will be transferred to your designated hotels; welcoming dinner is served.
Your guide for trekking will help out with the preparation; this day will also used for last minute shopping. Sightseeing to Boudhhanath, Pashupatinath and Swayambhunath with certified tour guide. Bouddhanath, Swayambhunath and Pashupatinath are included in World Heritage Site. It carries religious significance with astonishing beauties and carvings.
Pick up from hotel and transfer to domestic airport and fly to Lukla-30min. You will see the view of mountain from window. On the way after Lukla you will head through pine and cedar woods. you will trek to Cheplung village where you will see beautiful views of Mt. Khumbila. Descend to north of Lukla and camp at Phakding village.
From Phakding you will follow Dudh Koshi valley2-2 hours to Monjo, Jorsale, Sherpa village which is allocated in Sagarmatha National park. Entering to Sagarmatha national park, you will see good view of Thamserku. Namche is the gateway to Everest where Sherpa town belong and the last minute shopping spot.
Namche Bazaar is the Centre of the Khumbu region and houses government offices, ATMs, Internet cafes, shop, restaurants, a bakery and a colorful market. It is a day for you to acclimatization by exploring Thame, Khumjung and Green Village.
From Namche you will trek to Tengboche biggest monastery of the Everest region, World Heritage Site of Nepal. In Tengboche you will see Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Thamserku and Ama Dablam. On the way, you will see some rhododendron and wild life.
Before leaving Tengboceh, you will view beautiful sunrise ray over Ama Dablam mountain and descent to Imja river. Follow the trail of Sherpa village in Dingboche. You will see their agriculture field and yak graze.
From Dingboche, you will see six highest peak mountain including Makalu, Lhotse, Choyo and other mountain. It is acclimatize day for you to adjust your body with high altitude and prepare yourself for stimulating hike to Everest Base Camp.
You will ascent to EBC passing through Alpine meadows. You will see and pray stone monument of sherpa who died in Mount Everest while climbing. Move towards Gorak shep village and continue trek to Lobuche where you will see the view of sunset at Nuptse.
You will see Changri glacier before reaching Gorak shep(5150m). Trek to Khumbu glacier you will reach to small pool and walk through ice formation. You will reach Everest Base Camp, see the Everest closely and back to Gorak shep.
From Gorak shep you will hike Mt kalapatthar early in the morning. It is a highest point of trekking journey and most challenging one. From Kalapatthar you will see sunray over Mt Everest range. Descent to Lobuche and trek to base camp.
After breakfast you will leave Lobuche base camp and move towards high camp. Today trek will be steeper and rougher. It will take 3-4 hours to Lobuche high camp. In the noon, your experience climber guide will conduct a pre-training session for you. For tomorrow climbing, you will arrange the necessity equipment.
You will wake up early in the morning around 1 am have breakfast and carry your equipment you leave behind the high camp. You have to climb peak before noon because of strong winds after 12pm. You will walk on rock and ice surface. You will use your rope, ice axe and other gears to climb up steeper part. After reaching summit you will enjoy the view, take a photo of it and return back to High camp.
After breakfast you will descent to Lobuche. Take a short break at Lobuche and move ahead to pheriche where you will see the view of Mt Ama Dablam. You will walk down the path until you reach to Pangboche.
You will descend down to Imja khola and go through forest to Tengboche. After walking few miles you will cross over the bridge. Follow the trail you will reach the Namche Bazaar.
Namche is the beautiful place and a Centre of Khumbu region. You will exist from gateway from Everest and head towards Sherpa village, Jorsale, Monjo to Phakding village. After reaching Phakding you will go to Lukla.
You will transfer airport and fly back to Kathmandu. Our guide will transfer you to hotel and remain time is leisure.
