The Helambu village lies north east of Kathmandu valley is one of the most beautiful trek near the Kathmandu. . The Helambu Trek starts from Sundarijal, drive from Kathmandu. After. Continuing along the Chisopani, Kutumsang, Thadepati and Sermathang, the trek ends at the Melamchi Pul Bazar in the Helambu region. The trek passes through bench mountain forests with great Himalayan views and toward the end of the Helambu trek is an shortest and excellent destination in which to explore beautiful Langtang National Park which inhabits a wealth of rare birds, wildlife and different plants and flowers. Helambu trek provide the opportunity to trekkers to know the culture of Tamang , Sherpa, hyalmu and to interact with local people to visit the famous Milarepa cave near Tarkeghyang.
A representative from Absolute H.J Sherpa Trekking will be waiting for you at airport holding your and the company's name. You will be transferred to your designated hotels. Depending on your flight time, enjoy your welcoming dinner or the day after.
A professional Guide for trekking will help out with the preparation; this day will also be used for last minute shopping. Today will be an early start, after having breakfast, you will meet your trekking team and a private vehicle will transfer you and your team to Sundarijal. The drive is about an hour. You will begin your journey from Sundarijal, starting your journey into Shivapuri National Park, You will walk through the beautiful rhododendron forests to Chisapani. You will walk a total of 5 to 6 hours slowly.
Today you will wake up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise. We walk through the forests, savoring beautiful views of the Langtang range. You will walk for approximately 6 to 7 hours today through Pathi Bhanjyang and Gol Bhanjhyang to reach Kutumsang which is a beautiful village.
We start our trip after breakfast heading north into the beautiful Rhododendron forest. After we reach the hill top we will be greeted by beautiful view of the Himalaya, Langtang range. We walk to the highest point of our trek for about 6 to 7 hours.
We start our morning by taking a small hike to see view from the hilltop and after breakfast we will make our way back while enjoying the beautiful view of mountains and through the dense and beautiful forest. We walk around 6 hours to reach the beautiful village of Tarkeghyang also known as Helambu which is a beautiful Tamang and Sherpa Village. We walk through monastires and stupas and can see a beautiful view from the Camp as well.
We make our way to sermanthang after 5 to 6 hours of walk. Today you will be celebrating last night of your trek with your trekking team.
Walk and approximate of 1 to 2 hours to reach Melamchepul and then drive Back to Kathmandu on private Vehicle which will be waiting for you at Melamchepul. Have a nice rest at your hotel, you can take chances to do last minute shopping for souviners.
According to your flight time a private vehicle will transfer you to the airport.
