Gather your documents and necessary gear before heading out to the Ministry of Tourism's office. Ensure you have your identification and any paperwork needed for the day's activities.

On Day 4, you'll begin with an early morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, situated at an elevation of 2,860 meters. The flight offers breathtaking views of the Himalayan range, setting the tone for the adventure ahead. Upon landing in Lukla, you'll commence your trek towards Phakding, which lies at an altitude of 2,622 meters. The trek is a relatively gentle descent, passing through picturesque villages, verdant forests, and along the Dudh Koshi River. As you walk, you'll be greeted by the sight of prayer wheels, mani stones, and the warm hospitality of the Sherpa people. The journey to Phakding will take approximately 3-4 hours, providing ample time to acclimate and soak in the serene mountain environment. Once you arrive in Phakding, you'll settle into a cozy lodge, enjoying the tranquility of the surroundings and preparing for the next day's trek.

On Day 5, you'll embark on a challenging yet rewarding trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar, situated at an elevation of 3440 meters. The journey begins with a steady walk along the banks of the Dudh Koshi River, crossing several suspension bridges adorned with prayer flags. As you ascend through pine forests and small Sherpa villages, you'll catch glimpses of the majestic Thamserku peak. The trail steepens as you approach the entrance to Sagarmatha National Park, where your permits will be checked. Continuing uphill, you'll cross the Hillary Suspension Bridge, the highest of the region, before tackling the final, strenuous ascent to Namche Bazaar. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by the bustling, vibrant market town, a central hub for trekkers and the Sherpa community, offering a mix of modern amenities and traditional culture. Here, you can relax and acclimate, preparing for the higher altitudes to come.

Day 06 of your journey will be dedicated to acclimatization and rest in Namche Bazaar, an essential stop on the trek to Everest Base Camp. Nestled at an altitude of 3,440 meters, Namche is a vibrant market town known for its bustling shops, cafes, and stunning views of the Himalayas. Today, you'll have the opportunity to explore the local culture, visit the Sherpa Museum to learn about the mountaineering history of the region, and hike up to the Everest View Hotel for breathtaking panoramas of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. This day of rest and light activity is crucial for adapting to the high altitude, ensuring your body is well-prepared for the continued ascent.
