Paldor peak is considered a trekking peak by the Nepal mountaineering association, and is a technical climb. Paldor Peak 5,896m is located in the Ganesh Himal Ruby valley region, northwest of Katmandu. The summit of the paldor peak offers a panoramic view of surrounding Ganesh himal ranges..Paldor lies at the south-east end of Ganesh Himal range at the junction of the Tiru and Karpu Dandas (ridges). While it is under 6,000m, it provides a satisfying and non-to-difficult climb.
This peak can be climbed from North East, South East, West and South West Ridge. It was first climbed by Bill Tilman, Peter Lloyd, Tenzing Sherpa and Da Namgyal during the monsoon of 1949 by the North-East Ridge. Trekking to Paldor is one of the best and famous trekking routes in Ganesh Himal region.The quickest approach to Paldor Peak is from Sabrubensi near in the Trisuli valley which can be reached in an 8 to 9 hours drive from Kathmandu. A more interesting approach is the trek to Gatlang through the hills Tamang heritage trail from Syabru Bensi. The route leads via Tamang village of Gatlang, and then heads northwards to Ganesh Himal ruby valley region along the Mailung khola. Ganesh Himal ruby valley area in itself is a good choice for all trekkers. They remain unforgettably beautiful and culturally rich.
A representative from Absolute H.J Sherpa Trekking will be waiting for you at airport holding your and the company's name. You will be transferred to your designated hotels; welcoming dinner is served.
Your guide for trekking will help out with the preparation; this day will also be used for last minute shopping. Sightseeing to Bouddhanath, Pashupatinath and Swayambhunath with certified tour guide. Bouddhanath, Pashupatinath and Swayambhunath are included in World Heritage Site. It carries religious significance with astonishing beauties and carvings.
After breakfast you and your guide will take a private vehicle and drive to Syabrubesi. It will take 7 hours to reach. You will go through Trishuli river, after the stunning view of Himalayas, Dunche to Langtang National park you will reach to Syabru besi.
Today after breakfast you will cross several bridge then reach to Gholjong sango. Follow the trail you will reach to Tangjet. From Tangjet you will ascent to the Gatlang village passing through mani wall, carved stones and lotus Mandala.
You will trek 6-7 hours to reach Somdang. You will go through Khumba danda, pine, rhododendron forest. You will see stunning view of Langtang and Annapurna mountain. You will ascent toy steep trail and finally reach Somdang.
You will trek to Jasta Khani by ascending the path pass through Paigutang Kharka. Trek alone Mailung river. Passing through rocky and rough path covered by Juniper. From Jasta khani you will observe the zine mines.
You will climb up hills rocky path and moraines. After walking few miles you will reach base camp. You will get the view of mountains.
After breakfast you will go to high camp by passing through rocky glacier. You will see the view of Paldor East and West, rocky hills and green hills.
It is a acclimatize day for you to adjust your body with high altitude. Your experience guide will conduct the pre-training session and arrange the equipment for tomorrow usage.
Wake up early in the morning and have breakfast. You will carry you equipment bag and leave the high camp behind. After climbing 45O degree slope you will see the view of Ganesh himal I,II and III, Manaslu peak and many more. Enjoying the view from top you will descent to Base camp.
You will follow the same route as coming to peak . You will pass through Jasta Khani and reach to Somdang.
You will walk on the ridge of hills through the forest and green hills. After few hours you will reach Narchet Kharka with the view of Ganesh himal, Manaslu, Langtang and other peak.
Today trek trial will goes descent and ascent to Tipling village. Crossing several bridge you will ascent to village of Sertung. It is a village where Gurung people live and observe the culture.
You will ascent to the top of the ridge from where you will see the view of Mountains. Descent from hill top you will go through the terraced lands and walk to the village of Borang. You will walk until you reach to Jhatlang village.
You will pass htrough waterfalls, forest with the view of Manaslu, Ganesh himal peak. From Darkha you will walk to Darkhu phedi and walk to river bank to Khahare Bazaar.
Today you will return back to Kathmandu by private vehicle. You will be transferred to hotels.
