Tharpu Chuli (5663m.) is also known as Tent Peak is located in the heart of Annapurna Sanctuary. Tharpu chuli is situated near Annapurna Base Camp at ana altitude of 5663m. The base of this peak is a short walk through the stunningly beautifu; Annapurna Sanctuary.
The Tent Peak or Tharpu Chuli Climbing trek commences from the Lake City of Pokhara in the Annapurna region. During the initial days, while trekking via Dhampus, Landruk, Chomrong and Dobhan, enjoy the mountainous environment marveling at colorful flora and clear views of the splendid high mountains including the two eight-thousanders: Mt. Annapurna (8091 m) and Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m). Enjoy the ethnic hospitality along with the cultural magnificence of Nepal’s ethnic mountain people. Trekking further we reach MBC and ABC. The climb for Tent Peak or Tharpu Chuli starts further from ABC after reaching the Tent Peak Base Camp.
After summiting the peak, return the same route until ABC. From ABC, we trek down to Bamboo, Jhinudada, and Nayapul, passing by waterfalls, villages & settlements, and the rhododendron forest that bloom with red flowers during the springtime. From Naya Pul, we drive to Pokhara which announces the end of this marvelous adventure.
A representative from Absolute H.J Sherpa Trekking will be waiting for you at airport holding your and the company's name. You will be transferred to your designated hotels; welcoming dinner is served.
Your guide for trekking will help out with the preparation; this day will also used for last minute shopping. Sightseeing to Bouddhanath, Swayambhunath and Pashupatinath with certified tour guide. Bouddhanath, Swayambhunath and Pashupatinath are included in World Heritage Site. It carries religious significance with astonishing beauties and carvings.
After breakfast you will transfer at airport by your guide. You will take a short flight to Pokhara-30min. After landing your guide you transfer to hotel; this day you can also Pokhara famous place like Santi stupa, guptsewor cave, Devi's fall, Tal Barahi temple and Phewa lake if you like.
From Pokhara you and your guide will take a private vehicle and drive through Naudanda to Nayapul. From Nayapul You will trek to Birethanti then after cross Modi river You will reach to Ghandruk.
Today you will leave Ghandruk and descent down the trail which leads to the Kimron khola. The trail goes ascent and descent which will take 6 hours to reach Chhormrang village.
After breakfast you will go through oak, bamboo and rhododendron forest. You will reach village and after a few hours you will reach to Dovan.
Today you will pass through rocky path and climb steady. before reaching MBC you will go through cave. You can also explore MBC if you like.
Today you will wake up early in the morning to watch the sunrise view over the mountain. After breakfast you will walk 2 hours to reach ABC. It will be short hike for you. Enjoying the view you will capture the moment in the camera and head back to MBC.
You will trek 3-4 hour to reach Tharpu chuli base camp. You will see other trekker also. rest in a few minute in base camp. You will trek another 3-4 hours to Tharpu chuli high camp.
It is a acclimatize day for you to adjust your body with high altitude. Your experience climber guide will conduct a pre training for you. After session you will arrange your equipment.
You will wake up early in the morning have breakfast and carry your equipment bag to climb up the peak. From top of the summit you will see the view of Annapurna I, V and III, Hiunchuli and other mountains. After spending your quality time on the peak it time for us to trek down to base camp.
From base camp you will follow the same trail to descent to ABC.
Wake up early in the morning to see the sunrise view over the mountains. After breakfast you will descent to MBC, Deurali and Dovan. You will descent until you reach Bamboo.
From bamboo you will descent to Sinuwa then Khhomrung khola. After crossing several river and bridge you will reach upper Chhomrung. From upper Chhomrung you will descent to Jhinu dada.
From Jhinu dada you will descent to Nayapul. It will be your last trekking spot. From Nayapul you will take a private vehicle and drive to Pokhara-1 hours.
You will be transferred to airport and take a short flight back to Kathmandu-30min. Your guide will transfer you at hotel after landing.
