Mt. Lhotse Sar Expedition


  • Lhotse was climbed by a Swiss Expedition in 1956; its lower peak, Lhotse Shar, 8383m, is sometimes considered a Separate 8000m peak. Lhotse, which means 'south peak', is part of the Everest massif, Just to the sout of Everest. It was the German Expedition who has established the comfortable route to the summit the peak in year 1977. Mt. Lhotse is located between the Khumbu region of Nepal and Tibet at the longitude: 86.56.03 and latitude: 27.57.45. It is the fourth highest mountain in the Himalayas of the world. Its long east-west crest is located to the south of Mount Everest and the summits of the two mountains are connected to the South Col. Sometimes it is mistakenly has been identified as the south peak of the Everest massif.

  • Day 01 :Arrive in Kathmandu (1320m)

    Day 02 - 03 : Expedition document application, Preparation, briefing for Expedition

    Day 04 : Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla and trek till Phakding

    Day 05 : Trek to Namche Bazaar.

    Day 06 : Rest day for acclimatization

    Day 07 : Trek to Tyangboche

    Day 08 : Trek to Dingboche

    Day 09 : Trek to Lobuche

    Day 10 : Trek to Lhotse Base Camp

    Day 11 - 39 : Climbing period of Lhotse 8516m

    Day 40 : Trek to Tengboche

    Day 41 : Trek to Namche Bazaar

    Day 42 : Trek to Lukla

    Day 43 : Fly Back to Kathmandu.

    Day 44 : Rest and shopping day

    Day 45 :Transfer for Final Departure
